Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and your purchase of retreat registrations and related services (collectively, the “Services”) from Casa De Poderosas LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain a limitation of liability, an indemnification obligation, and a waiver of certain rights. By accessing the Services or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and able to form a binding contract to use the Services or purchase a registration. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. The Services
We offer registrations for retreats and related goods and services. Descriptions, dates, locations, itineraries, facilitators, and inclusions are provided for information and may change. We make reasonable efforts to describe the Services accurately but do not warrant that descriptions are error-free.
3. Orders, pricing, and payment
Order acceptance
Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We may decline or cancel an order, including after a confirmation has been sent, for reasons including unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing error, or capacity limits. If we cancel an accepted order, we will refund amounts paid for that order.
Pricing
Prices are stated in United States dollars and are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at the time your order is accepted. In the event of a pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method for the amounts due, including any deposit, scheduled installments, and applicable taxes and fees. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Installments and balances
Where a registration is offered on a deposit or installment basis, the payment schedule presented at checkout forms part of these Terms. If any scheduled payment fails or is not made when due, we may suspend or cancel the registration in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations, refunds, transfers, and changes are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is presented to you before you complete a purchase. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and that policy, that policy controls with respect to its subject matter.

5. Retreat participation
Assumption of risk
Retreat activities may include physical activity, travel, outdoor environments, and reflective or emotionally demanding exercises. You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, that you participate voluntarily, and that you assume those risks.
Health
You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you, and we recommend consulting a qualified health professional before registering. The Services are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic care and are not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You agree to disclose any condition, allergy, or accommodation need that is relevant to your safe participation.
Conduct
Participants are expected to treat others with respect. We may remove any participant whose conduct we reasonably determine to be unsafe, harassing, discriminatory, unlawful, or materially disruptive, without refund and at that participant’s own expense.
Travel, insurance, and documents
Unless expressly stated as included, you are responsible for travel to and from the retreat, personal expenses, and any required documentation. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Additional agreements
Participation may be conditioned on signing additional agreements, including a release of liability and a media release. Those agreements will be provided separately.
6. Intellectual property
The Services and all text, photographs, video, audio, graphics, and design are owned by Casa De Poderosas LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission, except that you may share links to our pages.
7. Your submissions
If you submit content to us, including responses to questions, feedback, or testimonials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. We will not attribute a testimonial to you by name or likeness without your permission. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
8. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by transmitting malware or placing excessive load on our infrastructure
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Services by automated means without our written permission
- Submit another person’s information without their authorization
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
9. Third-party services
The Services rely on third parties, including payment, hosting, and communications providers, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASA DE PODEROSAS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Casa De Poderosas LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your participation in a retreat, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You and we agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Changes apply prospectively. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The Terms in effect at the time your order is accepted govern that purchase.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
